What people say about our care
What is live-in care?
Live-in care means a carer lives in your home to provide agreed support. It can bring together personal care, companionship and practical help, while you keep your own surroundings and routines. We begin by understanding what matters to you, what you want to keep doing yourself and where help would make everyday life easier.
Support around your day
Your care plan can include help with washing and dressing, preparing meals and everyday routines, alongside company and conversation. We agree what you need and how you prefer things done. The aim is to support your independence, with time for the interests, relationships and small routines that make home feel like home.
Is live-in care right for us?
If you want to stay at home but need more help through the day, live-in care may be an option. We explore your needs, preferences, home environment and the support you already receive. This includes discussing suitable accommodation for the carer. We will talk through whether live-in care is appropriate and what arrangements would be needed.
Live-in care in MK areas
Leelin Healthcare mainly supports people in MK postcode areas. If you live outside the MK postcode area, you are welcome to enquire: our team will assess the available options with you. Whether you are exploring care for yourself or a loved one, you can contact us before making any decisions.
Nights and carer breaks
Live-in care does not mean one person works around the clock. Tell us about any help needed overnight, including how often you need support. We assess this with you and agree suitable care, rest breaks and cover arrangements before care begins. If waking-night support is needed, we discuss the available options and their costs.
How much does it cost?
We discuss weekly costs based on your assessed needs, how long live-in support is required and any overnight care. Your initial assessment is free. We explain what is included, how breaks and cover are arranged, and the proposed costs before you decide. If your needs change, we review the arrangements and costs with you.
How do we get started?
Start with a conversation about the support you need and when you need it. We arrange a free initial care assessment, then agree a care plan, costs and a suitable start date with you. If care is needed soon, tell us when you enquire so we can assess the available options. Your care can be reviewed as your needs change.
You don’t need all the answers to take the first step.
Tell us what is becoming difficult and what a good day at home looks like for you. Your initial care assessment is free. We will explore the support you need and agree your care plan, costs and a suitable start date before care begins.
We mainly support people in MK postcode areas. If you live outside the MK postcode area, you are welcome to enquire. Our team will assess the available options with you.
